Standing the test of time! Ice-T and Coco Austin have been a celebrity power couple since they met in 2001.The twosome connected on a video set that year and have been going strong ever since. The “I’m Your Pusher” rapper recalled the meeting during a 2017 Mario Lopez: One on One interview.“[I asked], ‘Would you ever consider dating a gangster rapper?'” Ice-T remembered. “The reason I said that, Mario, is I was wearing a red snakeskin suit.”Austin revealed she “didn’t know what a gangster rapper was” based on being a “white valley girl,” so she responded, “Oh, well, if he’s nice.”The star had a quick retort, firing back, “Well, baby, if you take the 'n' off 'nice', you get 'Ice.’”The pickup line worked as the duo began dating long distance — Ice-T was in New York for Law & Order, while Austin worked in California as a model. The pair’s romance progressed quickly, and they tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2001. "We just kept it between us, we didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so we just kept it to ourselves,” Austin wrote. “I will never forget looking at him face to face just me and him no one else in the room but a priest and a pianist. He got choked up while he spoke which made me get choked up."The pair went on to welcome their daughter, Chanel, in 2015, and have remained committed to their relationship for more than two decades.“Happy 22nd Anniversary! “Here's another old pic!! I have lots! This was from the 1st month Ice and I hung out,” Austin wrote via Instagram in July 2018. “I was 22 years old and very smitten by him but most of all he made me laugh … He is a very funny guy.”

The twosome met on a music video set after being introduced by mutual friend Rolls Royce Rick.

The couple tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. Their marriage, however, wasn’t legal until January 2006, according to court documents obtained by Us.

Austin made a guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alongside her husband.

Ice Loves Coco premiered on E! and ran for three seasons. The reality show ended in January 2013.

The pair’s talk show, Ice & Coco, was given a three-week test run, but never took off.

“Ladies and Gentlemen! Please allow me to introduce to the World .... Baby Chanel,” Ice-T wrote via Instagram announcing the arrival of their daughter. “Love is Love.”

The family attended a New York Giants game with Tracy Morgan.

“Today Coco & I celebrate our 20th Anniversary,” the actor wrote via social media. “Absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me. Love is not a big enough word. Stronger than ever.”

Austin gushed over her spouse after he took home his first Grammy Award with his group Body Count for their song “Bum Rush.” The band won Best Metal Performance.

"Grammy Surprise! OMG this just happened!!," the model captioned a Twitter video. "So not expecting it but @BodyCountBand won best Metal performance … 2nd nomination is a charm! You deserve it!! 👏👏👏👏."

The twosome went all out for Halloween.

Ice-T toasted to the couple’s 21st anniversary via social media, writing, “Zero complaints! Love is Love ❤️.”

“Happy Valentines to the love of my life ... 21 Valentines with ya and counting!!” Austin wrote in an Instagram tribute. “I love the feeling of being with you!! No hugs all kisses 😘 😉💋.”

The trio enjoyed a weekend away.

The duo shared a selfie from the Apollo Theater in New York City.

“It’s 2023 ... Let’s go! Keep winning and smiling … Make your haters SICK. 💎,” Ice-T captioned an Instagram post to kick off the new year.

The pair was all smiles as they stepped out for the 2023 Grammys in Los Angeles. The next day, Ice-T poked fun at an attendee who seemingly checked out his wife at the event.

“Lol … I love how the white dude looked at me then took time to check Coco out … I TOTALLY understand …💎,” the rapper wrote via Instagram alongside a video of Austin dancing in a form-fitting beige sequined dress at the awards show. In the clip, a man standing next to the couple took a long look at the model.
